The TK Maxx and Homesense stores are planning a fun first day in their new combined home.
As we reported last week, the two shops are closing their existing York stores and sharing a space in Monks Cross.
The opening day has been confirmed as Thursday, 19 March. The existing TK Maxx in Monks Cross and Homesense store in Foss Islands Retail Park will close the day before.
That is the first chance shoppers will have to explore the 26,734 sq foot store, housed over two floors and offering “designer fashion finds and homeware, all at up to 60% less than the RRP”.
And you could even come away with some free stuff.
Regular deliveries
Opening day shoppers can take part in an in-store treasure hunt.
Find one of the lucky winning labels hidden on the shop floor and you can exchange it for a gift card.
According to managers the new store will receive several fresh deliveries of thousands of new items every week”.
The two brands are owned by the same company. A spokesperson said:
-
We’re delighted to be opening a brand-new store in York Monks Cross – with both TK Maxx and Homesense under one roof.
Pop by often, as there will always be exciting new designer finds and one-off gems for less every time you visit.
