Loosen your waistbands, York – foodie bargains incoming!
The latest York Restaurant Week is nearly upon us, 60 venues have signed up – and you can get your vouchers now.
It run from 7-13 March across the city centre and is organised by the York BID (Business Improvement District).
Diners can go to the website and browse through the price menus of either £5, £10, £15 or £20. There is no limit to the amount of offers they can access, and vouchers are completely free to download.
Offers range from coffee and a doughnut for £5 (Doe Bakehouse) to three tapas and a drink for £15 (Tabanco by Ambiente). Or enjoy two courses for £20 (Refectory at The Principal).
Newcomers to the York hospitality scene Howl, Forage, Heavenly Desserts, Vitoria, Impossible York, Tabanco by Ambiente and Spark traders Slow Ride, Tiro and Frango Eduardo are all participating in York Restaurant Week this year.
Bounced back
“After a difficult couple of years, we’re delighted that Restaurant Week has bounced back to pre-pandemic levels with 60 venues participating.” says co-ordinator and BID business manager Chris Bush.
“There are much-loved York institutions as well as new names taking part this year, and a great range of offers for all tastes and budgets.”

Participating restaurants are hoping that diners will step outside their comfort zone and try something new during York Restaurant Week.
Customers are advised to book a table and check whether any terms and condition apply to their chosen offer.
