A unique York gift shop has closed.
Il Gusto, located on Low Petergate, has closed its doors and emptied its shelves after not renewing its lease.
The shop specialised in ‘the theatre of taste’, and offered products like liqueurs, spirits, oils, and vinegars in quirky bottles.
Though the York store has closed, shoppers can still browse for all their favourite products online.
According to their website, their Manchester and Birmingham stores have also closed, leaving just three of their remaining locations open.
Previously named Vom Fass, Il Gusto has been on Low Petergate for more than a decade.
The loss of Il Gusto follows just days after YorkMix revealed that Master Debonair is to close its shop on Lendal.
