York Pride
Getting bigger, better and more inclusive every year, York Pride returns with the theme Raise Your Rainbow. Join the colourful parade at York Minster, march down to Knavesmire then enjoy a great afternoon of fun entertainment for all the family. Performers include Stooshe, Kieron Richardson, Jenny Brooke as Dolly Parton and Cat Diva as Kylie. Starts at 11.30am – more here.
York Cycle Rally 2015
Great to see the return of the York Cycle Rally. It ran for 70 years till 2012, and has been revived thanks to the sterling work of volunteers. There are displays, stands, competition and all manner of family fun at Knavesmire on Saturday and Sunday, starting from 10.30am.

Vintage vehicles for Father’s Day
It’s Father’s Day on Sunday, and there’s many a motor-mad dad out there. So take yours along to the Vintage Vehicles Day at the Yorkshire Museum Of Farming, which will also host cowboys, vikings and steam train rides. More here.

Red Cow Music Ukulele Festival
There is something joyous about the sound of a well-strummed ukulele – and so Saturday‘s tribute to all things uke should have everyone smiling. The Uketopians the Blukuleles and of course the Grand Old Uke Of York (pictured) all play at the Black Horse from 2pm – more here.

Witness For The Prosecution
