Yorkshire’s biggest art, design and contemporary craft show brings 100 artists together and gives visitors the chance to learn more about art, watch demonstrations, interact with the artists and have a go themselves at creating pieces of art. On until Sunday at York Racecourse – more here.

The Handmade Craft Fair

The Handmade Craft Fair at York Hospitium on Sunday from 11am-4pm is the latest market to open in York offering artisan homewares and bits and bobs you never knew you needed and now must have at all costs. There’ll be unique handmade gifts, craft workshops, homemade cakes and a gift tree in aid of St Leonard’s Hospice.

Apple Week

Beningbrough Hall celebrates the fruit all week with activities and talks. On Sunday the gardeners and volunteers will be demonstrating how the apples are turned into apple juice, with the chance to have a go. Full details here.
