There’s no escaping the royal wedding, so join in the fun – or alternatively escape to the Middle Ages… Plus top comedy and a mix of music.

Resistance is useless. But don’t stay at home to watch Harry and Meghan get hitched – head into the city centre and enjoy it on the big screen set up in the Coppergate Shopping Centre. And do a bit of browsing and buying in the boring bits…

Alternatively you can sing and dance the day and night away, toasting the happy royal couple at Spark. This might be a little more raucous than regal.
