This is the moment a car was engulfed in flames in Selby town centre last night (Saturday).
The video, by Luke Bywater, captures the scene on New Lane.
Firefighters were called to tackle the blaze at 7.23pm.
By that stage the Peugeot 207 was well alight.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The car suffered significant fire damage to the front of the vehicle and crews extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet, one breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera.

“The incident was then left with police to arrange recovery.
“The cause of the fire is believed to be an electrical fault.”
No one was hurt in the incident.
